The APW 1380500 Fryer Hi-Limit Safety Thermostat LCH with Manual Reset 450°F Fixed is a temperature-sensing thermostat that shut off power when the oil temperature in the fryer reaches a preset limit. It senses the abnormal temperature rise and shuts off the power to the fryer assembly and then restarts the power after the temperature drops back below the set value, keeping the start-up conditions controlled. The probe is usually mounted in the commercial fryer control assembly, between the probe and the heating circuit and between the probe and the safety cut-off pathway.
