Hobart 346358-00002 Convection Oven High Limit Thermostat Disc Type

The Hobart 346358-00002 Convection Oven High Limit Thermostat Disc Type is a temperature-responsive safety component used to monitor excessive heat in compatible commercial kitchen equipment. Its disc-type mechanism responds to rising temperature by changing the state of its internal electrical contacts when the designated limit is reached. Installed at the specified high-limit sensing location, it monitors heat near the cooking chamber or heating assembly while the oven operates. If the temperature exceeds the switching point, the contacts change position and interrupt the associated heating circuit. This action limits continued heat generation and provides a secondary temperature safeguard alongside the oven's normal temperature-control components.
