The Southbend B42-00005 Range Top Pilot Assembly is a standing pilot assembly designed to deliver a constant ignition source for commercial kitchen equipment. The assembly consists of a 17-5/8-inch pilot tube a 1-3/8-inch flash tube, and a 3-inch pilot tip that route gas and establish the pilot flame at the correct ignition location. It is installed alongside the burner assembly and connected to the pilot gas circuit. The pilot assembly operates with the gas manifold, burner and control valve to ignite the main burner and maintain accurate burner operation during continuous commercial food preparation.
