The Pitco P5047213 Hi-Limit Thermostat LCH Type 450°F Fixed Manual Reset 5/16" Nickel Bulb is a temperature protection component designed for commercial frying equipment. It uses a nickel sensing bulb to detect excessive heat within the fryer and responds when temperatures reach the predetermined secure limit. Unlike standard operation of thermostats that regulate regular cooking temperatures, this high-limit control operates as an emergency to shut down the heating system. Found in restaurant and kitchen fryers, it forms part of the appliance's secure circuitry, oil overheating and unplanned operational interruptions.
