The Imperial 1173RS Natural Gas Safety Control is a regulation and protection part for commercial cooking systems for controlling the flow of natural gas during cooking. It is designed for use with 3.5" WC applications and is compatible with the designated systems by using the Model 7000 BMVR design. In use, it ensures a controlled flow of gas and burner protection operations during repeated cooking cycles. Replacement is usually done during maintenance when there is an inconsistency in gas regulation or valve operation during the use of the commercial kitchen.
