The Frymaster FM8070114 is a natural gas natural safety control valve for use on commercial appliance systems. It controls the gas supply to the burner assembly, and in conjunction with a millivolt ignition system and a thermopile, assists to ensure the proper presence of the flame and safe operations. Usually this type of Model 7000 BMVR element is installed in the gas train of commercial appliance to control on/off gas flow and to assist in controlled ignition sequence. It is widely used in foodservice kitchens where the units of appliances need to have exact gas regulating to ensure consistent cooking temperature. The valve is part of the built-in safety system of the appliance.
