The Frymaster FM8070115 is a natural gas safety control unit for 3.5" water column systems used in commercial appliance. It controls and monitors the flow of gas to the burner assembly, allowing safe ignition and allows gas to flow during the frying cycles. It is used extensively in commercial kitchens where gas fryers are used to cook food on a regular basis and flame control is essential. In the appliance system, it is a part of the main safety control line working with the ignition and thermostat parts to turn off gas if dangerous conditions are identified. It is an integral component of the burner management system, and is installed inside the appliance gas control section.
