The Frymaster FM1896 Natural Gas Safety Control is a commercial management part for cooking equipment, that will regulate the flow and protection operation. It is set up for 3.5" WC natural gas applications and incorporates the Model 7000 BMVR design to meet the requirements of the designated fryer designs. This control assembly is mounted inside the unit section and is connected to the ignition switches and pilot assembly parts. Replacement is usually done during servicing when the valve is not operating consistently, the burner response is not consistent, or when the pressure regulating system is not working correctly during normal foodservice operations.
