The Dean 810-2337 Filter Motor is a 1/3 horsepower electric motor that is used to power the oil filtration pump in suitable commercial fryer systems. It is designed to operate on single-phase power at 50/60 Hz and is used to provide the mechanical force necessary to pump the cooking oil through the filtration system. It is used in commercial kitchens and foodservice operations to pump oil through filters to remove the particles during frying. There is a major part of the filtration system of the fryer that allows oil to circulate between the fryer vat and filtration unit, keeping the oil clean.
