The Pitco PTPP10416 Fryer Filter Pump Motor is an electric motor of 1/3 horsepower that is used to drive the filtration pump in compatible commercial systems. It provides power to the pump that circulates cooking oil in the filtration assembly of the fryer. The filtration process is applied in the maintenance cycles of used oil to remove food particles and sediment in the restaurant kitchens and foodservice operations. The motor is a component of the oil management system of the fryer to supply the mechanical energy needed to transfer oil between the fryer vat and the filter unit to facilitate the oil and frying operation.
