The Dean 8100379 Drain Valve W/Handle 1-1/4" controls oil discharge from the fryer cooking vessel during draining and filtering procedures. The valve mounts within the fryer drain assembly and uses a manual handle to regulate the opening and closing of the drain passage. When the handle opens the valve cooking oil flows from the fryer vat through the connected drain piping. Closing the handle stops the flow and keeps the drain path sealed during cooking operation. The valve works as part of the fryer drainage system and allows operators to remove cooking oil for filtration replacement.
