The Frymaster FM8100379 Fryer Drain Valve W/Handle 1-1/4" is a manual valve that controls oil discharge from the fryer vat. It is positioned at the vat outlet and connects to the fryer drain line through its 1-1/4 inch opening. When the handle is turned to open the valve, the internal passage allow cooking oil to flow from the vat into the connected drain system. Returning the handle to the closed position stops the flow and keeps the oil inside the fryer. The valve is used during oil draining, cleaning, and service of compatible frying equipment.
