The Dean 8100583 Drain Valve W/Handle 1-1/4" regulates the removal of cooking oil from the commercial fryer. The valve installs in the assembly to the cooking vat and operates through the manual handle connected to the internal valve mechanism. Opening the handle creates a passage to flow from the vessel into the attached drain piping or collection container. Closing the handle stops oil flow and keeps the drain system sealed while it operates. This component provides the mechanical control the oil drainage path during filtering cleaning.
