The Hobart 3-1108-5 Contactor 3-Pole 40/50A 208/240V is an electrical control that is installed in compatible commercial kitchen equipment to control current flowing to heating elements. It is fed by a low-voltage signal sent by the control system of the appliance, and when it is turned on, it links the supply to the desired load. This contactor is placed within the electrical compartment of the cooking unit in the restaurant kitchen or any other foodservice setting. It is necessary to switch the interface within the electrical system, which is used to turn heat on and off when in normal operation.
