The Market Forge S10-5466 Contactor is a 3 pole electrical switch with a 40/50 ampere current limiting at 208/240 volts that is used to switch power in commercial cooking equipment. Fitted in the control compartment of the appliances, it reacts to the signal of the thermostat or control board to either connect or disconnect the heating elements during operation. This contactor is used in kitchen applications to provide proper temperature control and operation acting as a central element of the electrical control system of the appliance to regulate power flow and coordinate with other control elements.
