The Frymaster FM8070074 Contactor is a 3 pole electrical switching unit with a 40/50 amp at 208/240 volts rating used in the distribution of power in commercial electric fryer systems. Fitted in the electrical control section of fryers, it takes signals on the thermostat or control board to switch the heating elements on or off when necessary. This contactor is used in the running of the kitchen to control heating cycles and aid in maintaining a constant temperature in the kitchen, which is part of the electrical control system of the fryer to perform its operation.
