The Dean 8070074 Contactor is an electrical switch that is 3-pole and is used to handle current circuits in commercial foodservice appliances. It works as 208/240V with 40A inductive and 50A resistive current limiting the amount of power flowing to heating elements or other loads. This contactor is built into the electrical system of the appliance and it is necessary in controlling the operation cycles. It is normally fitted when servicing to ensure that there is a correct electrical response and system.
