The Star Mfg OB-30700-01 Contactor is a 3-pole electrical switch with a 40/50 amp load at 208/240 volts that may be used to turn power on and off in commercial cooking equipment. Fitted in the control compartment of and the like appliances, it is controlled by signals sent by the thermostat or control board to switch on or off the heating elements when in operation. This contactor is used in the operation of the kitchen to control heating cycles and to maintain a constant temperature in the kitchen, which is a major element in the electrical control system of the appliance to provide that power is delivered to the appliance and it works correctly.
