The Nu-Vu 662017 Contactor is a three-pole electrical component that is used to control the flow of power through commercial baking and cooking equipment. Having a 40A inductive and 50A resistive rating at 208/240V, it can be used to switch current loads like heating assemblies on and off. The contactor is mounted within the electrical system and allows the contactor to operate accurately on the input of the thermostat or controller. It stabilizes the performance of appliances and is usually changed during service to ensure that the electrical is correct.
