The Market Forge S10-5943 Contactor is a 3 pole switch with a 40/50 amperes current at 208/240 volts that is used to switch electrical power in commercial cooking and thermal processing equipment. It is mounted in the control housing of systems and it is connected to a thermostat or control module which sends a signal to the heating elements to open or close power to the heating elements when needed. This contactor is used in practice in kitchen and foodservice to control the application of heat and assist in the stable operation, and is an essential component of the electrical control system of the appliance to coordinate power delivery.
